Rooted

Rooted is a 10-week small group experience to connect with God, the church, and your purpose through daily reading and small group discussion. If you're new to Bethel or new to small groups, Rooted is your next step in discovering how to live as a follower of Jesus, in what we call the 1% life.

There are 3 Rooted sessions throughout the year - fall, winter, and spring.  Richland and West Pasco groups will generally meet at Bethel’s Richland campus on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 - 5:00pm. Prosser groups will meet on the Prosser campus.  Each session starts with a kick-off and ends with a celebration, where all the groups from all 3 campuses meet together in Richland.

Once registration is open for the upcoming session, you will find a link to register at bethel.ch/rooted. The cost is $20 per person, which includes all sessions, your workbook, and the Celebration dinner at the end of the 10 weeks. 

We don’t want childcare to be a hindrance to joining Rooted, therefore; childcare is available for a nominal fee. The cost is $20 for one child, $35 for two children, and $45 for 3 or more children (for the entire session).

We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it is worth it to invest in the entire process. If you know you are going to miss more than 2 meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted. The 10 weeks are a cumulative experience, and we ask that every participant commit to honor each other by being at every meeting.

Through the Rooted experience you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share God-stories and practice rhythms essential to a thriving spiritual life. Group discussions are an important part of the Rooted experience, and we want everyone to be able to participate.  Each week you’ll have 5 days of daily readings and reflection questions that will prepare you to share with your group. You can expect to spend between 15- 30 minutes each day writing, reflecting, and listening.

We believe that Rooted is a life-changing experience, and we want everyone to participate! We understand that the Rooted registration fee or childcare costs may be a burden for some, so we do have a limited number of scholarships available.  E-mail rooted@bethel.ch for more information.
